Record Without Fingerpicks

If you are a finger-picker guitar player who relies on fingerpicks to get the volume required for live music, don’t bring them to a recording session. The noise they make striking the string will drive the engineer crazy, not to mention all the $$$ you will spend trying to get those overtones out of the mix. Spend a week or so in the woodshed without the fingerpicks prior to your session.
