What exactly is this
Phantom Power thing? Phantom power is a very small amount of current, usually
between 9 and 48 volts that is needed by condenser mics in order to function.
Typically phantom power is supplied to the mic from either the mixer or
the pre-amp via the XLR cable connecting the two, but this is not always
the
case. Some condenser mics have an internal battery, while others have an
external power supply that comes with the mic.
