The Solo button
on each channel strips of your mixer enables you to listen to each track
alone, or “solo.” This is good for mixdown – especially when you need to
affect a lead vocal. Pressing the solo button will mute the entire rest
of the recording except for the track that you want to hear. Pressing it
again brings the entire band back.
