After you have
a mic or an instrument plugged in to your mixer, you want to be able to
send the signal somewhere. This is where the signal Routing/Busing comes
into the picture. The place where the signal ends up is referred to as
the Bus. You will utilize busing when you want to: a) Mix an entire song
down to a stereo mix via the Master Bus, b) mix several tracks together
before sending them on to the Master Bus, c) use the Control Room Bus to
listen to your tracks through the monitors, and d) adding effects to your
tracks via the Auxiliary Bus.
