Controlling Highs and Mids

Dealing with the Highs and Mids is relatively easy after all we went through to tame the low-end monster. All you will need is some panels (usually available at your local music store) that have foam insulation on one side. Mount a pair one the wall directly facing your monitors. If a problem still persists, try hanging a couple of these panels from the ceiling. Most people in our field of endeavor will hang these above and slightly in front of the monitor. Angle them a bit towards the place where you are mixing.
